That's the overview. Here are the details:

So, if you want to be a research professor when you grow up, this book is not really for you. Sure, it's a fun read. And, you may gain insights which will prove valuable when you are advising your own unconventional doctoral students in the future. But, fast-tracking your dissertation simply isn't your goal.
